Is there skill and precision involved? Does the game become challenging? I haven't heard any one bring up the things I have mentioned here. I haven't played this one much, but the game is £25, and from what I can tell Marble It Up Ultra is essentially Sonic but you're playing as a marble. I'd like to hear what players of Marble Blast Ultra think about this. I do like the designs of the marbles that you can unlock though. But this is basically some kind of 'Sonic' game.Īll the neon lights and what not are not my kind of style either, but I guess many will like that.

Sure, the games in this series were always about completing a level fast as you can. But then again, it appears that speed is what this game is really about. The first thing I noticed is how quickly you can build momentum. However, it felt to me as though there isn't much skill involved when it comes to precision and movement. Marble It Up Ultra seems like it may be fun for a lot of people. Finally beating the par time on "Schadenfreude" (the final level and hardest level in the game) for the first time was a very rewarding experience. I had achieved a level of skill that even back in the days of Xbox Live Arcade I could never reach. But when I had finished the game I felt as though I had a sort of mastery over the physics and movement. The last few levels were very challenging. I have since completed every level and have beaten all the par-times. A few days ago I re-played Marble Blast Ultra (via OpenMBU on PC).
